All available Public Works personnel were deployed overnight and will remain on duty throughout the day to clear all city streets and cul-de-sacs. Residents are advised that removal times may be extended due to the density of the wet snow.
Current operations are prioritizing roadway safety. While limited trail clearing has begun, full trail maintenance will commence as staff complete street plowing operations.
Motorists should be advised of significant refreezing risks today caused by high winds and underlying moisture. Crews will continue scraping and applying salt to mitigate icy conditions. For your safety and ours, please maintain a safe following distance from all snow removal vehicles.
