COVID-19 Resources for Residents
Andover YMCA/Community Center Food Distribution - The YMCA is partnering with Loves & Fishes and UnitedHealth Group to serve free healthy meals to families in need. Families may pick up food from Noon-2pm Monday through Friday at the Andover YMCA/Community Center and most other YMCAs across Minnesota. No questions asked. Anoka County Statewide Health Improvement Partnership (SHIP) - Anoka County has compiled a list of resources that inclues food access, physical activity, mental health, tobacco cessation support, violence prevention, food shelves, schools, workplaces, seniors and more. Anoka Hennepin School District Meal Access - Anoka-Hennepin School District provides grab-and-go meals at no cost for all children 18 years of age or younger who need them during the school closure. Additional restrictions may apply, please visit their website by clicking here for more information.
St. Francis School District Meal Access - St. Francis School District provides meals to all St. Francis area students free of charge. To request meals, parents/guardians need to compete a Meal Request Form which can be accessed by clicking here. Unemployment Insurance - Many residents may qualify for unemployment insurance from the State of Minnesota. Please visit the Minnesota Unemployment Insurance page for more information.
Federal Resources - A detailed list including information on federal emergency response, federal financial and tax information, food assistance, and more can be accessed on USA.gov by clicking here.
The City of Andover has compiled additional information for business owners in the community and can be accessed by clicking "COVID-19 Resources for Businesses" on the left side of this page. The Minnesota Department of Health has also established a COVID-19 Hotline that can be accessed by calling 1-800-657-3903 between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
