Curbside Recycling

Curbside recycling is picked up by your garbage hauler usually the same day as garbage pickup. Place recycling bins at least four feet away from garbage cans on other side of driveway. Items listed below are accepted at curbside recycling. For specific curbside recycling questions, call your hauler.

Accepted Items


  • Aluminum Cans
  • Aluminum Foil: Wipe Off Food Debris, Call Your Hauler - Not All Haulers Accept
  • Corrugated Cardboard: Flatten and Tie in 3 x 3 Bundles - No Refrigerator Food Boxes, Pizza Boxes or Plastic Coated Boxes
  • Glass: Food and Beverage Jars and Bottles Only - Rinse, Remove Lids and Rings, 
  • Magazines, Mixed Mail and Phone Books: No Large Catalogs, TV Guide, Reader's Digest, Paper Towels, Tissues or Milk Cartons
  • Newspaper and Supplements: Place in Paper Bag - No Tape
  • Plastic Bottles: Pete 1 and HDPE 2 with Neck; Rinse, Remove Lids and Rings, Flatten - No Fertilizer, Pesticide, Chemical or Automotive Fluid
  • Scrap Metal: Call Your Hauler - Not all Haulers Accept
  • Steel Food Cans: Rinse, Remove Labels
